HAMMOND ORGANS AND LESLIE SPEAKERS Always perceived as the quintessential drawbar organ, giving that sound. One of the few Hammond dealers in the UK, we deal extensively both in second hand tonewheel and cabinet Hammonds and in new products. There are always a selection of the old classic tonewheel organs on stock; however, as second hand items these are listed in the second hand page of this website. Of newer Hammonds, the XK-3c offers the classic Hammond sound in a portable package.
Hammond XK-3c The XK-3 was essentially the brains and full top manual of the new B3. Both models have Waterfall style keyboards, faithfully modelled on the old classic B3 & C3 organ keyboards. The XK-3c picks up where the XK-3 left off, having been redesigned with all the features of the original such as memory storage space for favourite settings and full Midi spec, but also implementing more hands on tone and midi controls, vibrato available on either lower or upper part and an even more convincing Leslie Rotary speaker simulation. A new lower price of £2,099 RRP is surely the icing on the cake!
With the addition of a lower manual and optional stand and pedalboard the XK-3c become the XK33. The pieces just slot together for each gig making this by far the lightest way to achieve the full B3 sound!

The latest Hammond is somewhat of a bargain! It shares the same sound engine as the B3 and XK3. But with a cheaper key action and reduced features the price is just £1,099 - INCREDIBLE !!!

On the basis of the continuing demand for and desirability of the original B3, Hammond brought out the New B3 in 2003.
Hammond B3 A faithful and immaculately crafted copy, it derives that sound from its 96 digital tonewheels. With full Midi controller spec as well, it offers all the look and authenticity of the original plus more at about half the weight! At a retail price of around £16,000, we don't normally keep one in stock; however, we're more than pleased to arrange a demo by appointment and assist anybody who wants and can afford one - ordering and delivering, making their tea, licking their boots etc. Hammond also offer the New B3 Portable (same spec as above) available from £8,999. Once again we do not keep one in stock but are happy to assist where possible (see above).
Finally, no Hammond sound would be complete without the Leslie speaker cabinet. The current one we stock is the Leslie 21.

This offers portability (50cmx50cmx32cm & 21kg) with the traditional Leslie sound. A bass simulator gets round the added weight and size factor of a bass rotor drum and the spinning horns in the unit are exactly what any Leslie aficionado would want to see! Prices are at £1,149 for the pro (black) model and the home (silver) model. As before with the Hammonds, older Leslie cabinets are usually in stock, but as these are second hand items, they are listed in the second hand section. |
